CBYA SayS Thanks to Sue Bell

The CBYA Committee recently agreed that we could do better in thanking those members who have given up numerous years of their valuable time to help run our Association. We therefore arranged a special presentation award for our former Charter Holiday Coordinator, Tanya English, our former Social Secretary, Peter English, and our former Treasurer, Sue Bell. This was planned to take place at the social lunch in Moraira on Monday 30th May. Unfortunately, Sue was unwell on the day and could not attend, so we went ahead without her. Since Sue was unable to be present at the Moraira lunch, we arranged a special presentation lunch on Wednesday 22nd June at Restaurante Pepe y Estrella in Jávea, which was also attended by Chris Bell (also a former CBYA Social Secretary), Saira Mackney (our Treasurer), John Mackney (our Boating Officer), and our Chairman, Hugh Epsom, together with his wife, Gillian.

The gift presented to Sue was a large engraved wine glass which we hope that she will find useful in the future!
