We organise annual sailing holidays for our members. In the past we have run two charters in Croatia, both with two yachts, and a charter to the Greek Cyclades Islands with five yachts. Our next trip will be a cruise along the Turkish Aegean Mediterranean coast on a gület yacht.

Our 2023 charter holiday will be on a gület yacht on the Turkish Aegean Mediterranean coast. A gület is a traditional design, usually a two or three-masted, wooden sailing vessel also known as a Bodrum-type schooner. For full details, click HERE.

We welcome non-members on some of our trips, providing that they take out temporary CBYA membership for the period of the charter.
We recommend that you wear non-slip and non-marking sailing shoes. You should also dress appropriately for the weather. Sailing gloves, hat, sun glasses, sun cream, water and a snack lunch are also advisable.
The CBYA Committee strongly recommends that, as from 1st January 2021, all sailing members should purchase their own insurance which will cover them for any CBYA sailing activities. This includes dinghy and Hobie Cat sailors, as well as those that join the monthly CBYA day charters and annual CBYA charter holiday trips.
