The CBYA fielded a crew in the TOMS Trofeo Otoño run by RCNC on Saturday 18th November. Against some stiff competition, the CBYA managed to gain 3rd place, and lifted a trophy. The event start was delayed due to a lack of wind, but was eventually commenced at about 1pm, meaning only two  2-leg races of a very short course could be completed. The secret to winning was very quick spinnaker work, and the CBYA managed this very well, despite this being the first time this crew had attempted this as a team.
