MATador II a MAT 1070 racer/cruiser, co-owned by Barry McCrae and Chris de Boer, is once again entering the Trofeo Peñón de Ifach. This is the 35th edition of the regatta and the crew will be aiming to beat their achievement of 2nd place in ORC3 in last year’s regatta. It is a regatta of 2 legs starting at 10.00am on Thursday 23rd May from Calpe bay and finishing across the channel at Formentera, a race distance of approximately 65Nm. There is a rest day on the Friday and then the return leg starts at 10.00am from Formentera heading back to Calpe. Prizes are awarded for the outward leg and overall for the 2 legs.
