Time To Renew Your CBYA Membership?

In order to facilitate the transfer of our membership payment system from the XERO accounting invoicing, to payment via our new website, the CBYA joining fee was waived during June. It has now been re-activated.

If you have recently been sent a request to renew your CBYA membership, please do so promptly. You can avoid having to pay the re-joining fee by contacting the Membership Secretary and requesting a discount coupon. To contact, click HERE.

Our new website-based payment system is easy to use:

  • Select the class of membership that you are renewing (Single/Couple/Family/Temporary)
  • Enter the discount voucher details if applicable
  • Pay using a credit or debit card

You will receive an automated confirmation of payment with an order number, as well as log in details to your own personal CBYA account. You can change your password if you wish after logging on. You will also receive an automated welcome message with useful information, and a link to update your membership details (using the drop-down menu to select the relevant class of membership). Please take a few moments to update your personal information, as it is important for the CBYA to hold current records in order to be able to better manage our association.

As the pandemic restrictions have eased, we have gradually reactivated our events and regular TOMs sailing, Dinghy Days, Hobie Cat sails, Day charter cruises, and social events, have all restarted. We plan to be far more active during the rest of this year (COVID-willing!), so don’t miss out!

I look forward to seeing you at some future sailing or social event.

Rachel Garnham
