Matador II, with crew Barry McCrae and Andrew Guilbert, is participating in the 38th edition of the 200 Millas x 2.  As its name suggests, this is a 200 mile race with just 2 crew, depending on the wind, the race could take anywhere between 30 – 40 hrs.  Organised by Club Náutico de Altea, it starts and finishes in the bay of Altea. On Friday 1st March at 12.00 hrs, 38 yachts ranging in size from 31 ft to 75 ft set off, heading WNW to the North of Ibiza, they circle Ibiza and Formentera in a clockwise direction before heading back West and returning to Altea.
