Barry McCrae and Chris de Boer, co owners of Matador II a MAT 1070 racer/cruiser, have entered the 34th edition of the Trofeo Penon de Ifach. This is a regatta of 2 legs starting at 10.00am on Thursday 25th May from Calpe bay and finishing across the channel at Formentera, a race distance of approximately 65Nm. There is a rest day on the Friday and then the return leg starts at 10.00am from Formentera heading back to Calpe. Prizes are awarded for the outward leg and overall for the 2 legs. Crew onboard include Karen McCrae, Hans Sleutjes, Chris Engels and Andrew Guilbert.
