CBYA Platinum Jubilee Beach Picnic

CBYA members, and a few friends, gathered at the Montañar Beach in Jávea during the afternoon of Sunday 5th June to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.

Although some had been concerned that it would be too hot, we enjoyed a great sea breeze, which produced comfortable conditions.

Dave Peachey provided musical entertainment.

The theme was red, white and blue, and there was a prize for the best-dressed person.

After careful review by our judge, Sally Clayton, the award was presented to Gillian Ashworth for her Union Jack dress.
