Last Dinghy Day before the Summer Shutdown
What a great finish to the first half of our Dinghy Sailing 2021!
We had a good turnout with a few new faces replacing some regulars who were sailing around Ibiza. It was a hot but cloudy day with an offshore breeze which provided some excellent, but demanding, conditions. Our youngest member (just under 3 months) manned the safety boat, for his first water born trip, and we even had a Mummy swim out to rescue her son who got into a few difficulties!
Thank you all for your help with relocating our box, which was demanding and kept some of us busy till gone 8pm!
106 sailing so far this year, and 109 bridge attendees. A big thank you to all my helpers, without whom none of this would happen.
Well that’s it until September. Enjoy your summers and watch this space for when we start sailing again.
