On the TOMs Sail Training Day on 4th February 2016, the CBYA crews started returning “white sails” to the TOMs.

Under the guidance of our TOMs bosun – John Allison – who prepared everything, a large crew of fifteen dedicated  CBYA TOM sailors laid out their mainsails and foresails, and gave them a good cleaning. You could see a real difference when the sails were turned over to clean the other side! The Sail Training session then followed with “clean dresses” on the TOMs.

The CBYA sailors intend to continue the washing project until all sails are again beautiful for the TOMs.  John will be asking for assistance before the next sail training session, so please help us to continue with the TOMs facelift!
