The CBYA organised a great Hobie Cat Day this week! Well worth waiting for!!
In the end we only had eight sailors, so we elected to take the Cats out for the full duration of the rental, swapping crew roles whilst out at sea. The 1.5 hours flew by as it was so much fun. A perfect Force 3.5 with flattish seas made for fast sailing; up to 22km/h was recorded. One of the Cats had crew out on the trapeze for much of the time.
We are planning more CBYA Hobie Cat days during the summer months, so watch this space!
