Despite the impending strong winds, and deteriorating weather, three powerboats with CBYA members and guests made it to the CBYA raft-up on Tuesday 11 June: Esmola, Fletch & Carpe Diem.
Carolyn and Paul Smithard hosted our Chairman, Hugh, and his wife Gillian, on board Carpe Diem for a gourmet lunch accompanied by ample liquid refreshment – part of on-going celebrations of Hugh’s 70th birthday the previous day! The water was still too cold to swim, but we nevertheless enjoyed a very sociable event!
