The CBYA organised a raft up of CBYA member-owned boats on Wednesday 5th July, which was attended by Tricky D, Feels Great, Rosbif2 & Esmola, together with crews totalling around 25 CBYA members.
A TV North (http://www.truenorth.tv/about/) camerman was in attendance filming material for a documentary that they are making for Channel 4 about small entrepreneurial British businesses on the Costa Blanca. Chris & Sue Bell have been selected as one of their subjects for the Christopher’s Kitchen business (https://www.christopherchef.com/), and filming has already started for the Channel 4 programme, ‘A New Life in the Sun’ which will be screened in January next year. Christopher’s Kitchen provided lunch boxes for the raft-up. More great publicity
Despite the uncomfortable swell that Tricky D & Feels Great experienced whilst sailing from Denia to the raft-up in Javea Bay, the agreed raft-up location in Cala Sardinera was pretty well sheltered, and conditions were great for the event. We were even joined by the Mojito Man!
After lunch, Richard & Roger treated us to a ukelele sing-along.
