Over 45 people attended the second 2017 CBYA presentation in Javea which was “A Greek Oddity” given by Richard Jones at the Javea Players Studio Theatre in Javea on Monday 22 May.

This was an  interesting and entertaining presentation with a ship’s bell sounding every 15 minutes to ensure that Richard didn’t run over his alloted time!

Richard talked about his cruise last year from Denia to the Ionian Sea and back on his Beneteau Oceanis “Tricky D” with crew including CBYA members Brenda Bates, Jim Cooper, Philip Wilson, Tone Kongsgaard, Anna Miller & Peter Knowles.

Chris & Sue produced some excellent tapas and Brenda Bates did stirling work behind the bar.

To cap it all, Richard & Roger gave us a virtuosu ukelele performance!
