One of our members has a 30’ Hallberg-Rassy 312 berthed in Gosport in the UK and wants to bring it to the Javea area.

The owner has an RYA Day Skipper certificate of competence, but limited experience other than that. He is looking for anyone with offshore experience to help him cross Biscay and get his boat to Finisterre by late April/early May this year. He plans to leave the boat in A Coruña until he and his wife can bring it the rest of the way over July/August. He will be seeking further help after that for the coastal legs from there to the Costa Blanca.

Are there any experienced sailors that will help him plan the journey, make sure the boat is suitably prepared and undertake the passage with him? He invites anyone with skipper experience and that has sailed this journey before to get in touch.
