The CBYA met again at A Bordo in Javea last night - 24th April. The restaurant again put on very reasonable meal (as usual), comprising 3 courses and wine, but to keep the price affordable, the number of choices of main course has been reduced from four to two. Although the food is great value, the club should probably consider letting the restaurant increase the price slightly (in line with inflation) to provide more choices as before. The new chairman thanked the restaurant and the members applauded, which was well received by the staff. Thanks were also given to the social team and a welcome extended to the new members that came along. It is hoped that we can combine the club social dining events with some kind of presentation in the future, to make the event more varied.
