A Placid Dinghy Day

The last Dinghy Day of 2022 on Wednesday 28 December, saw a Laser, a 420, and the Stern out on the water with very light winds.

Alan demonstrated how to sit on the low side of the dinghy to keep the 420 tilted, so that she sails better in this light wind.

Other sailors discuss their foot injuries whilst relaxing in the sun.

Then we were treated to a spectacular sunset!

Why not join us on Wednesday 4th January for the first Dinghy Day of 2023?

Hi
I am due out to Javea for a couple of werks from January 21st and would like to try and do at least one dinghy day while there. Could you tell me the days which are planned as i believe they have changed since Bob retired.

Regards

Phil Neville.

Hola Philip – Dinghy Days are still held on Wednesdays. Occasionally they change to a different day of the week if the weather is unfavourable. Thye are also now planning to run a few events on Sundays. I suggest that you join the DD Whatsapp group in order to be fully informed. Our Boating Officer, John Mackney, can add you to the group.
