The CBYA held their annual social at the La Bodeguilla restaurant in Jávea  on Monday 20th November. We were accommodated in a private dining area this time, which we pretty much filled.  There were 24 members dining, but there were also some disappointments, as some members left it too late to book! A reminder of how important it is to reserve your place at CBYA social events before the cut-off date.

The Chairman, John Mackney, gave a short  speech to the members, with some news of our recent sailing successes (the CBYA Competent Crew course took place earlier in the day, and he showed off the trophy the TOMs crew had won)

Well done to the Social Team for putting together an altogether very successful and enjoyable evening, and we look forward to the next event, which is of course our Christmas Party at A Bordo on the 11th December. This is our premier event of the year with a great menu, dancing and a raffle for charity. Book early and don’t miss out.
