The CBYA held a picnic on Montañar beach in Jávea to celebrate the coronation of King Charles III and Queen Camilla.

Thirty five members and guests turned up. Tables were dressed with union flags and bunting was flying as the earlier rain blew away, and the sun and cakes came out. A toast was raised to the new King and Queen.

A prize was presented for the tastiest picnic fair, and was won by Izzy Armstrong for her most excellent Bloody Mary cocktail!

Julie’s sandwich cake was delicious, as was the Union Jack desert!
