First 2022 CBYA Hobie Cat Day

The first CBYA Hobie Cat Day this year took place on Friday 21st July with excellent sailing conditions!

We had three skippers on duty (Karen Gardner, Alan Bailey & Hugh Epsom), so were able to take out three Hobie Getaways.

Unfortunately, five of the signed-up crew cancelled at the last minute, or failed to show, so we sailed with only three crew on two of the cats, and only two on the third, as it was too late to cancel one of the boats.  A reminder for anyone that cancels after the cut-off date/time, you will still have to pay for your sailing!

The next Hobie Cat Day will be on Friday 29th July (weather permitting), and we plan to sail every Friday until the end of August.
