For 22nd December, the weather was perfect…blue sky and sunshine.

For the sailors, eight of them, the two Lasers and Wally (the 420) were in and out all afternoon.

Thanks to John Lilley, the new outboard motor was tried, tested and given the seal of approval by all.

They even managed to trick me with two going out on the safety boat, and two different crew returning…… they switched with the Laser sailors!!

As the bars were closed, I moved my bridge over to the hard and five social members joined in the afternoon; wonderful views, warm sun, and the odd drink!

It was all very quiet at Paradise Bay, and everyone kept to the social distancing and other rules, but we were still all able to enjoy each other’s company.

Thank you for my bottle presents. You are a great team. Same again on Tuesday 29th December (don’t forget!), which will be the alternative to New Year’s Day.
