Members of the Montgo Residents’ Association (APMJ) and the Costa Blanca Yacht Association (CBYA) got together at the Bodega Museo Maserof on Friday, Sept. 15, 2017, to celebrate the Grape Harvest. This great anything-goes event takes place on only four nights every September, inviting guests to kick off their shoes and tread grapes in the traditional manner.
Unfortunately, the inclement weather restrained some of the excitement of the tour of the museum and bodega, however, it was still enjoyed by all, and found to be very interesting.
The grape stomping ceremony was followed by a candlelit five-course dinner washed down with endless glasses of vino tinto from the Bodega’s mountain-top vineyard, originally established during the Roman occupation of Spain. Flamenco music, song and dance, including a show-stopping performance by chef-proprietor Carolina, rounded-off a joyous evening
