The CBYA regularly sails dinghies from the beautiful ‘Paradise Bay’ (El Portet – Moraira) which are available to our members.
Our dinghy section offers great opportunities to our members to learn how to sail and fine tune their skills.
The CBYA has a special relationship with the Real Club Náutico de Calpe which gives us access to their six, fleet-racing TOMs, at a special discounted rate.
The CBYA runs twice-a-week Sail Training Days on the TOMs – usually on Thursdays and Saturdays. We have several members who are RCNC – CBYA approved skippers, who take out CBYA members interested in learning how to sail these exciting boats.
We charter yachts for a full day cruise most months from Náutica Corcho in Dénia. The yacht is typically a Jeanneau Sun Odyssey, with size varying from 37ft to 54ft, dependent on the number of crew.
Depending on wind and sea conditions, we usually head south, enjoying the beautiful coast line and wonderful scenery. Passing Les Rotes, San Antonio lighthouse, then across Jávea Bay. We may visit Cala Blanca, Sardine Bay, and Portichol Island, Cap de la Nao, perhaps going on to Cala Granadella.
We have many active members with lots of sailing experience and new boat owners are always welcome at our club! Come and join us!
