On the evening of Tuesday 9th April, twenty six members of the CBYA attended the social event at Oceana Club in Les Bassetes. This is a beautiful location on the Mediterranean sea, where the CBYA holds their regular Hobie Cat days.
Despite the rain that began upon our arrival, there was plenty of room inside for all members to socialise and chat, instead of the planned outside seaside terrace, which normally provides a spectacular view of the beautiful sunsets. However, a magnificent rainbow obligingly displayed a spectacular show of colours for us all to enjoy.
Twenty members stayed on for a delicious meal and more socialising.
It was a very enjoyable evening and a wonderful opportunity to hold a social event further south in the CBYA Costa Blanca area.
