Platú 25 beginners sailing course
Friday 14th July 2023 (for 5 weeks)
Apply to sail if you would like to learn to sail a keel boat. Full training will be given by a qualified instructor. Courses start at 11am, so please be in Altea Club Nautico in good time to meet the instructor and familiarise yourself with the location. Suggested time to meet is 10:30am
You will need to bring a swimsuit (or sailing shorts), cap, sunscreen, suitable footwear, towel and optional change of clothing. If you do not have a federal sailing license, then it is mandatory to purchase the federal license that includes insurance e.g. FVCV license, which can be purchased from the offices of the CN Altea. Alternatively, a sailing school license from Altea costs 9€.
If you want to book for a 5 day course (one day per week for 5 weeks), then you will need to pay for all 5 days – €25/day x 5 = €125. Tickets are available on a first come first served basis.
