Rosalind Miranda gave Part 2 of her extremely interesting presentation on Monday 25th November to a another full house. Her talk described her adventures and experiences in sailing her 8 metre yacht Uhuru from Fiji to Hong Kong, via the New Hebrides (now Vanuatu), to the Solomon Islands, which was then the British Solomon Islands, to Papua New Guinea, to Truk in the Carolines, Saipan in the Marianas, Japan and Taiwan.

Part 2 of her talk covered her adventures sailing from Papua New Guinea, to Truk in the Carolines, Saipan in the Marianas, Japan and Taiwan.

Members enjoyed the tapas at Restaurant Area 1 after the event.

Note: Rosalind has agreed to run a two-session celestial navigation course for the CBYA next year. The course will use her Miranav method and will be free-of-charge for paid-up CBYA members. The proposed dates are Wednesday 11th and Wednesday 18th March 2020. Each session will start at 1400 hours, take about two hours, and will take place at Rosalind’s house in Alcalalí.
