Another lovely Dinghy Day at El Portet…first time on a Wednesday.

As the wind was offshore, the sea was flatish, but the wind was gusting strongly, which once again created conditions for some demanding sailing.

As the afternoon progressed, the sun came out and my bridge was fully occupied with social members of which two walked (one pregnant + 2 small dogs) to the the Pepper Pot Tower (and further) before returning to my bridge. So Dinghy Day has turned into sailing, social and walking!

Editor’s Note: Well done for repairing the 420 rudder so quickly! Bob clearly wanted to try it out himself, so he sailed the 420 with Karen, see the video on our Facebook page by clicking HERE!

It was again so beautiful at El Portet and it was dark by the time we left!

Thank you all who came, great participation from everyone, – too many to mention all the names.

See you again next Tuesday.

Great report & photos, Another fun day on the water for members & entertainment for supporters.
Will be there on the bridge again myself soon.

Hi Bob
Please add me to your list,

Well done to everyone who makes the Dinghy Day worth while. It’s a very buzzing sector of the CBYA, sailing and social combined, and not forgetting a special thanks to the hard workers who keep the boats afloat. Well done to you all.
