RCNC TOMS Trofeo Navidad
The 2021 TOMs Trofeo Navidad took place on Saturday 18th December with good, but sometimes challenging, racing conditions: a variable North to North-Easterly breeze, gusting 16 – 18 knots, and a big swell.
Five (5) TOM crews participated namely:
- Sven with Suso’s crew (RCNC)
- Castellon crew
- SomWomen (mostly female) crew
- CBYA
- Carina (RCNC, all female crew)
The CBYA TOM was crewed by: Eva Vetter, John Mackney, Dave Reid and Hugh Epsom.
Carina’s crew included two CBYA members, Amanda Topson and Karen Gardner.
Jordi (RCNC General Manager) acted as Race Officer and Antonio (RCNC Head of Sailing) was our referee, following close behind us to make instant protest decisions. All TOMs carried a red protest flag.
The overall results, after six races, were in the order listed above.
