In a previous post it was mentioned that members who are boat owners are often looking for crew. A number of members replied saying that they would be available to do this and could they be put on a list of Crew Available.

Rather than create a separate list, we have added some fields to the Members Details Form, so now there is a box which you can tick to say you are available as crew. You need to update your members details to include this option so we can export a list of names and send it to any skippers looking for crew.

This is really easy to do, and here are the instructions:

1. 1. Go to the link cbya.org and log into your account (click Members Area and insert your login details)
   2. Click on the My Details section and then in the page that opens, click Edit Entry at the foot of the page
   3. Scroll down to the check box Crewing and tick “I would like to crew for other boat owners”
   4. Then click Update to save your changes

When you are contacted by another member looking for crew, you are free to make your own private arrangement.
