CBYA Dinghy Section Back in Business!

The CBYA Dinghy Section have now completed the return of our boats and storage box to Paradise Beach after the recent mandatory removal for the Ayuntamiento beach cleaning project. We now have two Lasers, Wally (420) and Louise, all back on the beach together with the storage box, so we are more or less back to normal. The benefits of the clean up were the development of improved communications with the Town Hall, and a lot of maintenance being completed on the boats.
All due to a lot of hard work by a few:  Dave, John, Garry, Les, Fernando, and the support of many others, new members and old. A BIG thank you to you all! You are a great team.

A much tidier beach!

The Dinghy Day on Tuesday 10th Nov presented different conditions to the previous event. However, although a little demanding, it did provide the opportunity for different people to sail and gain more experience.

Lovely socialising on my bridge after the event.

See you next time.

Sounds like fun
Does anyone know what happened to the dingies that were on el portet beach as I had one ??
I have spoken to the town hall and they deny all knowledge of the whereabouts of any dingy that was on the beach prior to the 15 October
Any suggestions? On this mystery?
Please get in touch

Mike n Bren Cuthbert

Also I like to know if there are any weekly/monthly meetings regarding sailing and social event that we can attend as new to the club (1 week)
