Our latest TOMs skipper,Dave Reid, was awarded his CBYA skipper’s pennant during the TOMs Ladder race day on Thursday 27th February 2020. We enjoyed our first Ladder day racing with spinnakers.
We completed three races in three TOMs with twelve crew. Results to be published later.
Peter Bird brought his Beneteau Flyer 6.6 Spacedeck powerboat down from Moraira to help run the races. Robert Blackwell was our Race Officer for the day, and Stuart Eynestone-Hinkins acted as photographer and first mate. Thanks Guys!

During the CBYA Awards Night Dinner at the A Bordo Resturant on Monday 24th February, we launched a special year-long event to mark fifteen (15) years since the official formation of the COSTA BLANCA YACHT ASOCIATION – our CRYSTAL JUBILEE!!
During this year we shall be taking a look back at CBYA’s history, and giving thanks to the many people who have made it all possible. We plan to feature a series of monthly articles in our newsletter with interviews honouring key individuals – some of whom are founder members, and some of whom have joined more recently. read more →
