Costa Blanca, Spain

Our gorgeous coastline was enjoyed in comfort by CBYA members on Peter Bird’s Beneteau 6.6 Flyer Space Deck Adeline powerboat. Leaving Moraira marina and heading up towards Granadella beach – listed in the top 20 most beautiful sites in Spain – the group had a picnic lunch, and then headed home.

Peter has kindly offered his powerboat to assist with safety cover during CBYA Dinghy Days at El Portet – very handy as it is situated just a short hop away in Moraira Marina. He has also offered to assist our Powerboat Co-ordinator, Kiran Kapur, in growing our nascent Powerboat Section.

Excellent to have a good powerboat as safetyboat on dinghy days. Thanks Peter!

Welcome Peter to the CBYA modest fleet. Hope you enjoy many happy hours on and off the water with us. Brenda

Our recreational Powerboating is traditionally at its busiest with the warm water and sunny skies of the Summer months. But that often means navigating through some very congested waters and this trip, kindly led by Peter and reported on by Amanda, reminds us that a fun Powerboat excursion on the water can be had along our wonderful coastline even outside the Summer months. The enthusiasm and support that Peter brings to the CBYA is much appreciated.. Kiran, CBYA Powerboat Co-Ordinator

Please would you pass on a message to Peter Bird that I would very much like to meet him for a drink when it suits him.
Many thanks
